When you encage a singing canary and teach her how to un sing,

You deprive the world of all the sweet songs she was brewing within.

With shackles on her spirited soul and a mandate to live by norms,

She is nothing but a mud house washed down by the enraging storm.

Life is neither about living by rules or mere existence with no recourse,

Brilliance outshines mediocrity under influence of passion and purpose.

Let her go O’Father, let her learn, falter and live, just the way she wants to,

She may not conquer the mountain but there will always be sunshine within.

Let Her Soar High
Let Her Soar High
